(a)     Initiative:     Training Programs

  1. 1. KMTS enabled its marketing consultant to attend and complete the Radio Advertising Bureau’s Radio Marketing Professional Program, a course of study that focuses on mastering the knowledge and skills necessary to help businesses maximize advertising successes.

(b) Initiative:    Internship Program

KMTS traditionally conducts an internship program that is designed to assist students and members of the community to acquire skills necessary for broadcast employment.  Participants have come from local colleges and from larger, state-level colleges.  During this reporting period, the station received no applications for the program.  KMTS will continue to offer opportunities in its internship program, in order to expose students and other interested individuals to practical aspects of the broadcasting field.
