7) Supplemental Recruitment Initiatives. .

(a) Initiative: Aspen Valley Hospital Job Fair

The Employment Unit co-sponsored a job fair at Aspen Valley Hospital on Tuesday, June 26, 2007 from 6:00 P. M. to 9:00 P.M. The Employment Unit promoted the event by broadcasting commercials announcing the event. The Marketing Consultant for the stations spoke with individuals interested in broadcasting careers. Job Applications were made available as well.

(b) Initiative: Aspen Chamber Resort Association Job Fair

The Employment Unit co-sponsored a job fair at Aspen Valley Hospital on Friday, November 2, 2007 from 6:00 P. M. to 9:00 P.M. The Employment Unit promoted the event by broadcasting commercials announcing the event. The Marketing Consultant for the stations spoke with individuals interested in broadcasting careers. Job Applications were made available as well.

(c) Initiative: Internship Program

KMTS/KGLN conducts an internship program.  Local colleges, as well as most of the large, state-level colleges were contacted and made aware of the internship program. This year there were no applicants for any internships.
