Join us at Hallam Lake for our first ever Raptor Fair! ACES resident raptors, also known as birds of prey, are some our best educators, allowing visitors to get up close and personal to powerful wild animals. Over the years ACES has been home to several non-releasable raptors, including a golden eagle, red tail hawk, great horned and screech owls, falcons and more. This year we’re dedicating a whole day to these incredible birds! In addition to our resident Golden Eagle and Great Horned Owl we’ll have visiting raptors from Nature’s Educators, a raptor education organization in Denver. The Raptor Fair will include visiting opportunities with the birds, as well as a formal presentation from 4-5. We will also offer various arts and crafts, and tours around the Hallam Lake Nature Preserve. Don’t miss out on this exciting program for all ages!
Want more? Register your 5-10 year-olds for special raptor-focused classes offered during the day on July 5th.
