May 19 & 20 and June 2 & 3, 2012 9am to 10pm daily All ages and abilities 4862 Snowmass Creek Rd, Snowmass, Colorado 970-923-2511 Enriching experiential education and recreational experiences for Deaf and Hard of Hearing individuals, the Aspen Camp of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (Aspen Camp) has announced it will be holding its annual Volunteer Work Weekends, May 19 & 20, and June 2 & 3, 2012 from 9am to 5pm each day at the campus in Snowmass, 486 Snowmass Creek Rd. Some overnight guests are welcome, and volunteers will be served breakfast, lunch and dinner. Volunteers may work for a couple of hours, all day or all weekend. Volunteers who work over four hours will receive a commemorative water bottle and all volunteers are invited to experience the low ropes course on Sunday afternoon. Volunteer Work Weekend tasks include painting, planting, weed pulling, light construction, ground clean up, and other cleaning and organizing. It is suggested that day volunteers bring a hat or cap, sturdy shoes (no flip flops), gloves, sunglasses, sunscreen, camera, and a water bottle. Overnight guests should call the camp for an additional supply list.
