The Carbondale Chamber invites you to attend its Annual Business Conference on Friday, September 14 from 8am to noon at the Gathering Center at The Orchard. The Conference will feature Keynote speaker, Mark Hoog on Conscious Leadership, and Karla Tartz, on the current economic state of Colorado, breakfast provided by Bonfire Coffee, a series of educational breakout sessions and informative expo booths hosted by local businesses. The keynote address will be given by Mark Hoog, a nationally recognized speaker, bestselling author, captain with United Airlines, and executive director of the Children’s Leadership Institute. Hoog’s presentation provides a new perspective on leadership; conscious leadership will change how you do business. Conference speaker is Karla Tartz, Deputy Director of the State of Colorado Economic Development and International Trade Office, who will be discussing the State of Colorado’s current economic state. Breakout session topics are: Social Media, a discussion on today’s ever-changing social media presences and offerings presented by Michael Conniff Business Strategy, Accessible Education presented by Dr. Susan Looney & Dr. Gwyn Ebie, Colorado Mountain College Capital and Credit Sources for Businesses, an open discussion on the local economy, presented by Don Hannon, Wells Fargo Construction/Design Resources on continuing education credits, with a focus on sustainability as a way of life, presented by John Baker, President of Baker Design Group. Nonprofit Strategic Partnerships and collaboration efforts presented by Amy Kimberly, CCAH, and Frank McSwain Sr., Raising the Bar Development Advisors. Expo booths are available for $250 and include entrance into the conference presentations and breakfast as well as outreach to all attendees. Conference tickets are only $25 for conference attendees.
