Join Roaring Fork Conservancy to tour the head gate on Castle Creek that diverts the high mountain water to Aspen’s drinking water treatment facticity and also explore the water treatment plant. Discover where your water is coming from and just how clean it really is from the experts who keep up to 8 million gallons of water moving through the pipes in Aspen each day. All participants will receive an Aspen Tap water bottle. This free event is underwritten by the City of Aspen Water Department and is partnered by the City Aspen Environmental Health’s Aspen Tap Program.
