The Women’s Foundation of Colorado invites Roaring Fork Valley citizens to attend its upcoming Community Conversation on Wednesday, September 18 at El Jebel Community Center in El Jebel to share and discuss the findings of its recently published research report The Status of Women and Girls in Colorado.
This report is The Women’s Foundation of Colorado’s largest research report in its 25-year history. It is taking the research on the road with organizing sessions in 11 communities across the state for people to learn more about the research and discuss ideas for action and change. The 160-page research report includes critical data and analyzes areas of progress for women as well as areas for improvement. The data is focused on five categories: Economic Security and Poverty, Employment and Earnings, Educational Opportunity, Personal Safety, and Women’s Leadership. The report also includes regional data on many of these topics.
This Community Conversation is generously sponsored by Vectra Bank.
