Wednesday, August 15, 2012 5:30 pm Powerhouse Open Space on the Crystal River near Redstone Meet at Redstone Inn, Redstone Cost: FREE with underwriting from Pitkin County Open Space & Trails Join Rick Lofaro of Roaring Fork Conservancy for an incredible evening of fishing the Crystal River from the Powerhouse Parcel, home to the former hydroelectric powerhouse for Redstone and some great fishing. Learn about the history and importance of this protected riparian parcel. Rick will lead the group to the normally off-limits section of river and help with fly selection and casting. This is not a guided trip. Participants must bring their own fly-fishing equipment and have some previous fly-fishing experience. Please dress appropriately; the event will happen rain or shine.
