The Good Seed Community Garden at The Orchard, located at 110 Snowmass
Drive, Carbondale will be hosting a Meet & Greet and Cookout on Saturday,
June 1st starting at 9 a.m.
Refreshments, grills, light snacks, paper plates and cups will be provided
by The Orchard. Attendees are encouraged to bring along their cooler with
items for the grill and a side dish to pass around for the cookout at noon.
Feel free to participate in any or all of the events of the day. Community
members who are interested in getting a garden plot are also invited.

Bernhardt with Biorganix.
FREE compost tea for all community garden members.
·9:30 a.m.:³Gardening tips that work in our valley² presented by Fred Pulver
·10 a.m.:Meet & Greet and discussion of ongoing projects and future workdays
·11 a.m.:Special project TBD (bring along your work gloves)
·Noon : Cookout
·1:15 p.m.:Movie: A Place at the Table.
This 2012 documentary film shows us how hunger poses serious
economic, social and cultural implications for our nation, and that it could
be solved once and for all, if the American public decides-as they have in
the past-that making healthy food available and affordable is in the best
interest of us all. Running time 84 minutes.
