Thursday, October 4, 2012 4 – 6 pm Hunter Creek Trail Meet at lower Hunter Creek Trailhead off Lone Pine Road, Aspen Cost: FREE with underwriting from Pitkin County Open Space & Trails Join staff from Roaring Fork Conservancy for a hike up Hunter Creek enjoying the fall colors and learning about the importance the riparian habitat along the creek. We will discuss how a complicated system of diversions to Front Range cities affect the creek’s flow and some history of the area. This easy to moderate hike gains approximately 800 feet over a few miles. This free event is underwritten by Pitkin County Open Space & Trails.
