Saturday, May 5, 2012 10 am – 12 pm Thompson Creek Open Space Meet at Thompson Creek, south of Carbondale Join staff from Roaring Fork Conservancy as we take a family-friendly hike to the confluence of Thompson Creek and the Crystal River. We’ll search to for signs of animals large and small and learn why animals like to live near the river. Bring a picnic lunch and enjoy spring-time along the river. Appropriate for kids of all ages and their parents. Please dress appropriately; the hike will happen rain or shine. This free event is underwritten by Pitkin County Open Space & Trails.
