To celebrate 25 years of strengthening leadership and relationship skills in the Valley, Roaring Fork Leadership (RFL) has planned a Silver Anniversary Celebration taking place May 31, 2013 at the Wildwood Snowmass from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The goal of the event is to reconnect the vast network of alumni in the area and also to introduce the program to future applicants. In addition to enjoying alumni speakers, live music from Dan Sheridan, appetizers and cocktails, event attendees will hear a keynote address from Greg Cortopassi, an innovator, entrepreneur and longtime RFL supporter.
“There are more than 650 people in our valley who have completed the Roaring Fork Leadership program over the course of the past 25 years and, for many of them, it was a life-changing experience,” said Andrea Palm-Porter, executive director of Roaring Fork Leadership. “We are extremely excited to be celebrating our 25th year and we very much look forward to reflecting on the legacy and to seeing all the familiar faces on May 31.”
Tickets to the event, which are $45 each and include two drink coupons, can be purchased by visiting www.rfleadership.org or by calling 970-922-6035. For those interested in staying in Snowmass, The Westin is offering a special $79 room rate if booked by May 17. For lodging reservations and information, call 970-923-8200.
With questions or to request an interview with Andrea Palm-Porter, Greg Cortopassi or any of the RFL board members, please contact Andrea Palm-Porter at 970-922-6035.
About Roaring Fork Leadership:
Roaring Fork Leadership helps individuals and organizations build effective leaders through training, practice, and application. The organization’s leadership training and programs immerse individuals in experiential learning to shift conversations from ‘right/wrong’ to ‘what works/doesn’t work.’ This builds a safe and trusted environment so that collaborative decision making and civic dialogue are possible. Upon completion of the programs, RFL connects leaders to opportunities to serve for the betterment of the local communities.
