TransCare Ambulance is conducting a Food Drive to benefit the Homeward Bound Shelter in Grand Junction, Colorado during the month of May. Homeward Bound is the largest homeless shelter in Western Colorado and provides food and shelter for about 100 people every day, including many from Garfield County. Homeward Bound helps families with children, veterans, the handicapped and others who cannot afford food or shelter. Please drop off your non-perishable food items at the TransCare Ambulance office in Silt at 1815 Medicine Bow next door to Pizza Pro or call 970-876-4017 to arrange a pickup.
