Wilderness Workshop is looking for volunteers to remove old barbed wire fences on Saturday, June 22nd near Ashcroft. Breakfast, tools and a B-B-Q will be provided. Volunteers will help remove the old wire strands so wildlife can move freely across the landscape and don’t become caught in the barbed wire. The Forest Service has identified the area as a high priority for restoration and volunteers will help make the upper Castle Creek Valley safe for our wildlife. To RSVP or get more information, visit www.wildernessworkshop.org/restoration or call 963-3977.
