Join Judith Hayward with the Grand Valley Historical Society as she portrays the notable Jerusha Langen Sipperelle who lived in Grand Valley/Parachute in the late 1890s. In addition to Sipperelle’s life and times, we will learn how she was connected to the Historic Battlement Schoolhouse. This free event begins at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 18 at the Parachute Branch Library as part of the Summer Reading event series for adults. For more information call the library at 970-285-9870.
