Colorado DMV CDL Holder Requirement for DOT Medical Certificate

Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) holders who have not previously provided their DOT Medical certificate to the Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV) need to submit it no later than January 31, 2014This requirement is due to new Federal Motor Carrier Administration regulations. All CDL holders that do not have their certificate on file with the DMV by January 31, 2014 will receive a letter in the mail informing them that the DMV needs to receive a copy. Should the CDL holder not comply by March 15, 2014, their license will be cancelled.
