Construction Allowed to Continue in Greeley

GREELEY, Colo. (AP) – Federal wildlife officials say Greeley can resume construction work along the banks of the Cache la Poudre River where great blue herons were nesting before the heavy equipment rolled in. Two weeks ago, work on an irrigation canal was halted after about 30 birds that had been nesting in trees took off.
