DIVIDE CREEK…JUNE CREEK…CORRAL CREEK…ALKALI CREEK…SALT CREEK
AND GARFIELD CREEK

* AT 254 PM MDT…NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
SLOW MOVING THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAINFALL 17 MILES
NORTHWEST OF DEBEQUE MOVING SLOWLY EAST AT 5 MPH. RADAR ESTIMATES
RAINFALL AMOUNTS IN EXCESS OF ONE IN AN HOUR WERE FALLING FROM
THESE STORMS.

* RUNOFF FROM THIS EXCESSIVE RAINFALL WILL CAUSE FLASH FLOODING TO
OCCUR. ESPECIALLY ALONG ROAN CREEK AND CARR CREEK NORTHWEST OF
DEBEQUE.

A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS IMMINENT OR OCCURRING. IF YOU ARE IN THE WARNING AREA MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND IMMEDIATELY. RESIDENTS LIVING ALONG STREAMS AND CREEKS SHOULD TAKE IMMEDIATE PRECAUTIONS TO PROTECT LIFE AND PROPERTY. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CROSS SWIFTLY FLOWING WATERS OR WATERS OF UNKNOWN DEPTH BY FOOT OR BY AUTOMOBILE. DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE THE POWER OF FLOOD WATERS. ONLY A FEW INCHES OF RAPIDLY FLOWING WATER CAN QUICKLY CARRY AWAY YOUR VEHICLE. TURN AROUND…DONT DROWN.
