Glenwood Springs–Garfield County Commissioners voted 2 to 1 to approve the River Edge Colorado residential development. The approval came with several conditions. Developers aim to build over 360 homes covering more than 160 acres between Glenwood Springs and Carbondale.
Aspen–The future plans for managing public lands in Colorado will be discussed d by the BLM and the Pitkin County Board of Commissioners next month. The public meeting will be held, December 8th at the El Jebel Community Center.
Denver–Unemployment figures in Colorado remained unchanged from September to October at 7.7 percent. Jobless figures in the resort communities were slightly worse.

Xcel Energy to buy 200 megawatts of power from a wind farm slated
to be built in Limon next year. Xcel officials say wind farm
developer NextEra Energy Resources LLC offered it the lowest wind
costs it has ever paid.
DENVER (AP) – Two Rivers Water Co. says the Colorado Water
Conservation Board has approved a nearly $1.2 million loan for it
to restore a reservoir built in 1905. The Denver-based company says
it plans to put the reservoir back on line for irrigated
agriculture.
