State Lawmakers Consider Misconduct Rules

DENVER (AP) – Separating legislative leaders from the disciplinary process for sexual and workplace harassment is one recommendation for Colorado lawmakers. A report by a Denver-based employment law firm presented Thursday also calls for public release of both investigative results and disciplinary decisions involving lawmakers accused of misconduct. Lawmakers commissioned the report after several sexual misconduct cases involving legislators surfaced before the 2018 session.
