State Says More Well Inspections will Lead to Cleaner Air

DACONO (AP) – The latest data from the Colorado Department of Public Health and the Environment show that state inspections of oil and gas sites may spur significant improvement in air quality. State health officials inspected about 2,000 oil and gas operations across Colorado last year and found leaks of heat-trapping methane and volatile organic gas at 13 percent of those sites.
