Academy of Country Music Reveals Nominations for Song and Songwriter of the Year

The Academy of Country Music has revealed the nominees in two more categories– Song of the Year and Songwriter of the Year– ahead of the 51st Annual ACM Awards Sunday, April 3 in Las Vegas. The Song honor is shared between the artist, songwriter and publisher.

Chris Stapleton remains this year’s most nominated artist, with a new Song nod bringing his total up to seven. First-time nominee Cam now competes for six trophies, as does Entertainer of the Year contender Eric ChurchLittle Big Town is now in the running for five. 

Luke Bryan and Dierks Bentley will host the show live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.

Here are the new nominations: 

“Burning House” — Cam
“Girl Crush” — Little Big Town
“Nobody to Blame” — Chris Stapleton
“Raise ‘Em Up” — Keith Urban featuring Eric Church
“She Don’t Love You” — Eric Paslay
