Beach Bound Through October: Dierks Bentley Extends 2016 Tour

Capitol Nashville

Dierks Bentley will officially be “Somewhere on Beach” well into the fall. The “Different for Girls” hitmaker is extending his tour of the same name, adding a second leg that will go through the end of October. Current tourmate Randy Houser will continue on the ten new dates, while newcomer Drake White and The Big Fire will join Dierks after they wrap their work on Zac Brown Band’s Black Out the Sun trek.

The initial dates on Dierks’ tour conclude with a two-night stand at the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre near Denver, Colorado. After a few days off, Dierks and company will fire up round number two, starting October 13 in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

“We’re about 30 shows in so far, and I feel like we are just getting started,” Dierks says. “The songs from the new album are really connecting like nothing I’ve experienced before. The band and crew are in a great groove and we’re having the time of our lives out there… We’re going to make summer last as long as possible out here on the ‘Beach.’”

You can find the latest info on the new dates at Dierks.com, as pre-sales for the second leg of the Somewhere on a Beach Tour start Tuesday. This week, Dierks’ duet with Elle King, “Different for Girls,” breaks into the top 15.
