Brantley Gilbert is teaming up with the Ohio-based Bendon company to give one of the largest donations ever to Toys for Tots, just in time for Christmas. The maker of children’s activity products has earmarked $10.5 million specifically for Marine Toys for Tots.

It’s a cause close to Brantley’s heart, because it specifically supports military families like the one mentioned in his chart-topping 2015 hit, “One Hell of an Amen,” and also because of where he was raised.

“Growing up in rural Georgia, I know that sometimes Christmas isn’t a time of joy for some kids and our contribution might be all they receive this year so I really wanted our donation to matter,” he says.

After enjoying the holiday, Brantley returns to work January 28 when The Blackout Tour with Canaan Smith and Michael Ray kicks off in Saginaw, Michigan. Then on May 5, he’ll resume his European dates that were cancelled after the Paris terror attacks.
