Cam Hits Grammy Jackpot After Vegas Show, Goes Top Five with “Burning House”

Sony Music Nashville/Ninelle Efremova

Just days before the release of her debut album Untamed this week, Cam got her first Grammy nomination.

“I did a show in Vegas last night and I woke up and instead of winning the literal jackpot, I woke up to the figurative jackpot of being nominated for Best Country Solo Performance for ‘Burning House.’ Crazy!” she said of the announcement early Monday morning. She competes against Chris Stapleton, Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban and Lee Ann Womack for the coveted trophy.

This week, Cam’s nominated song also becomes her very first top five hit. Her full-length recording debut comes out Friday in stores and online. You can listen to it now, ahead of its release, on Entertainment Weekly‘s website.
