Carrie Underwood‘s new single, “Smoke Break,” will be available digitally Thursday night. It’s the lead single from her upcoming album, Storyteller, due out Friday, October 23.
Carrie made the big announcement during a Facebook chat. She says of “Smoke Break,” “It’s a story song that I feel like everybody can relate to about how life is so hectic, and it’s so nice if and when you actually get to kind of step away for a second. We all need that time to ourselves to get to take a break.”
Carrie worked with producer Jay Joyce on “Smoke Break.” He’s the man behind many hits from Eric Church and Little Big Town.
