Carrie Underwood: “The Girl You Think I Am”

Arista Nashville

Carrie Underwood confesses the song “The Girl You Think I Am” was inspired by her father Stephen. She also says it’s the track from her Storyteller album that’s most likely to make her cry.

“[My dad] thinks I’m brave,” she tells People. “He thinks I can do anything. He thinks I’m fearless… I would love to be the girl that he thinks I am!” she reveals.

The Checotah, Oklahoma native’s latest single, “Church Bells,” is currently knocking on the door to number one, waiting at number three, just behind Jason Aldean and Keith Urban.
