CMA

Reaction from this year’s CMA Awards nominees started pouring in through social media shortly after the nominations were announced Wednesday morning. Here’s a roundup of what the stars have to say so far:

Blake Shelton — “Congrats to @ashleymonroe for our CMA nomination this morning!!! This calls for a drink!!!”

Dan + Shay —  “Congratulations to all the #CMAawards nominees! We are stoked to be nominated for #DuoOfTheYear! Thanks y’all!”

Maddie & Tae — “Can’t believe we’re up for CMA duo, new artist, & video of the year!!!! LOVE Y’ALL SOOOO MUCH! ?? #CMAawards #isthisreallife.”

Lee Ann Womack — “Woah! We’re pretty excited around here! ❀to everybody who helped me make music this year :)”

Kenny Chesney — “This kinda news? It makes me feel like these songs, this music and the No Shoes Nation are just getting started.”

Lady Antebellum‘s Hillary Scott — “Vocal Group of the Year!!!!! Thank you to all of the voters and ALWAYS to the fans!!!! ?????????? #CMAawards2015”

Lee Brice — “When I wrote [‘I Don’t Dance’] as a gift to my wife Sara, I never thought it’d impact as many people as it has. I’m grateful to be recognized by the CMA with this nomination, but I’m equally honored to get to play it every night for fans across the U.S. this year.”

Chris Stapleton tells Entertainment Weekly — “I’m rarely a man lost for words, but I’m lost for words. I just keep saying ‘I’m grateful’ but I really can’t come up with any other way to say it. The fact that people like what we recorded and have taken the time to meet me and my wife and still said nice things about us and what we made.”

Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood return as hosts of the 49th Annual CMA Awards Wednesday, November 4 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
