Jason Aldean is hot down under. The “Gonna Know We Were Here” singer is the first headliner ever to sell out Australia’s CMC Rocks QLD festival — an impressive feat since both Taylor Swift and Tim McGraw have played the show in the past.
“I have been looking forward to heading down under to play, but to hear it’s already sold out without ever stepping foot in Australia is pretty cool,” the nominee for ACM Entertainer of the Year says. “The boys and I kicked it off really early this year stateside and I am ready to bring it to the fans who I hear have been waiting.” Prior to his March 12 festival date in Willowbank, Jason plays Melbourne March 8, followed by Syndey on March 9.
After a rare weekend off, Jason and tour mates Thomas Rhett and A Thousand Horses take their We Were Here show to Roanoke and Charlottesville, Virginia next week.
