Kelsea Ballerini and Steven Tyler will be all over ABC Wednesday, September 9 to announce the nominees for the 49th Annual CMA Awards. The pair will announce the finalists in five categories that morning on ABC’s Good Morning America, where Steven will perform his new single, “Love Is Your Name.”
He says, “I’m just humbled by the open arms of the country community and am honored to take part in this BIG moment.”
Kelsea grew up watching the CMA Awards as a kid in Knoxville, Tennessee. She says, “To be able to announce the nominations for the awards this year with THE Steven Tyler makes me beyond excited.”
Following the GMA announcement, Kelsea and Steven will announce the rest of the nominees on GoodMorningAmerica.com on Yahoo.
Steven also will make an appearance on Live! with Kelly and Michael that morning. Kelsea is slated to give a free acoustic concert later that day in New York City’s Bryant Park, in association with the Grand Ole Opry.
Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley will host the 49th Annual CMA Awards Wednesday, November 4 on ABC.
