Kelsea Ballerini has a lot of big events coming up, including an appearance at the MTV Video Music Awards Sunday, August 30. According to the Knoxville News Sentinel, Kelsea just picked out a dress for that big event. She’s also gearing up to make her late-night debut on ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live! September 30.
With all of these exciting moments happening so fast, Kelsea is taking time to take note of all these new milestones. “I call them mountain-top moments,” she says. “It’s those moments that make you stop, because life goes so fast in this industry. It’s crazy. It’s the moments that make you stop and say, ‘What if you knew five years ago that you’d get to do this?’”
There’s a good chance Kelsea could be a big winner at the CMA Awards in November, too. She’s in the running for a nomination in several categories, including Female Vocalist of the Year and New Artist of the Year.
