Kelsea Ballerini Turns TV Host for ABC’s New “Greatest Hits”

It’s the start of a busy summer for Kelsea Ballerini. Not only will the “Peter Pan” hitmaker be hitting the road with Rascal Flatts and Chris Lane on the Rhythm & Roots tour, she’s also landed a TV gig, on the new ABC show Greatest Hits.

“I’m co-hosting it with Arsenio Hall, who is awesome,” she tells ABC Radio. “The show is like this six-episode series and each episode goes over a five-year period of time, between 1980 and 2005. They just are bringing in, like the biggest artists to represent the biggest songs of that five-year period. There’s collaborations and there’s like, fun pop-up moments, to just kind of represent the generation of music for the last, I guess 25 years.”

While the full list of performers on the new show hasn’t been revealed, we do know that Kelsea will sing as well as host, and Little Big Town has taped an episode as well. Greatest Hits premieres Thursday, June 30 at 9 p.m. ET on ABC.
