Lady Antebellum’s Hillary Scott Admits She Couldn’t Tour Without Her Young Daughter

Capitol Nashville

Lady Antebellum‘s Hillary Scott doesn’t think she could have continued touring with the band if she hadn’t been able to bring her daughter, Eisele, along for the ride.

Hillary tells the Lexington Herald-Leader, “I know I couldn’t —  not as the mama. There is that maternal instinct and that list of responsibilities that is just different, obviously, than the dad’s. I’m very, very grateful.”

Of course, it helps that Hillary’s husband, Chris, is the drummer for Lady Antebellum. Hillary’s band mate, Dave Haywood, often has his young son, Cash, out on the road, and Lady A’s Charles Kelley will be welcoming his first child with wife, Cassie, in 2016.
