In March, Loretta Lynn returns with her first new studio album since her 2004 Grammy-winning collaboration with Jack White. Full Circle was produced by one of her twin daughters, Patsy Lynn Russell, and John Carter Cash, the only son of Johnny and June Carter Cash. It was recorded outside Nashville at Cash Cabin, the studio where the Man in Black completed his final masters.
The 13 tracks trace Loretta’s musical beginnings singing folk tunes to the first song she ever wrote, “Whispering Sea,” to hits like “Fist City.” It also includes cameos by Willie Nelson and Elvis Costello.
The new project comes out March 4, the same day PBS premieres a new two-hour episode of American Masters focusing on the 83-year-old superstar, called Loretta Lynn: Still a Mountain Girl.
Here’s the track listing for Full Circle:
“Who’s Gonna Miss Me?”
“Black Jack David”
“Everybody Wants to Go to Heaven”
“Always on My Mind”
“Wine into Water”
“In the Pines”
“Band of Gold”
“I Never Will Marry”
“Everything It Takes” (featuring Elvis Costello)
“Lay Me Down” (featuring Willie Nelson)
