It’s been an excruciating weekend for Ashley Monroe, after her beloved pooch disappeared late Thursday night. “I’m begging for help,” she tweeted shortly afterwards, along with a photo of the dog. “The love of my life Rosie is missing in the Nolensville area of Nashville.”
On Friday, Miranda Lambert reached out on social media as well, sharing a cute photo she’d taken with Ashley’s dog, and offering the support of her Mutt Nation Foundation. “Please help my dearest friend @ashleymonroe find her precious dog, Rosie,” she tweeted. “Contact email@example.com.”
With the help of another canine, Ashley was able to track Rosie’s scent to the nearby Sugar Valley subdivision. The “Lonely Tonight” hitmaker later reported she’d been spotted as well, but by Sunday she still hadn’t returned home.
“Please don’t stop praying. My heart has never been more broken.. But I have to keep faith. I just have to,” Ashley shared, adding the hashtag #findrosie.
