Thomas Rhett Readies “Star of the Show” as Part of “Tangled Up Deluxe”

Thomas Rhett’s latest single is “Star of the Show,” one of five new tracks from the forthcoming deluxe edition of his sophomore album.

“’Star of the Show’ is one of those songs that I have lived with for a while and [it] kept coming up as a song we needed to record and get to the fans,” he says. “I wrote it with my dad [Rhett Akins] right after I got married, and it was the first song I ever wrote about Lauren. It was a staple in our set before we had any hits,” he recalls, “and fans still request it to this day.”

You can preview Thomas’s new release in the online trailer for the re-issue of his second set. It also includes a new take on another smash hit he wrote about his wife, with pop star Tori Kelly joining him on the “Die a Happy Man” remix.
