Tim McGraw brought his Shotgun Rider tour to Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena Saturday with a few family members and special guests joining him onstage throughout the night.
Faith Hill got a huge reaction when she walked out to perform “It’s Your Love” with Tim. Given the rash of divorces in the country community this summer, the crowd was thrilled to see Tim and Faith together and looking very much in love. Faith sounded great for the performance, and we hear she’s got some new music of her own coming out soon.
Tim and Faith’s oldest daughter, Gracie, joined her dad to perform a new song called “Here Tonight.” Look for the collaboration to show up on Tim’s new studio album, due out later this year.
Tim also brought out country newcomer Chris Janson to perform a duet of Chris’s top 10 country hit, “Buy Me a Boat,” which Tim says is one of his favorite songs on the radio right now. After the performance, Tim introduced the U.S. veteran receiving a mortgage-free home thanks to Tim’s ongoing work with Operation Homefront and Chase. In keeping with the theme of “Buy Me a Boat,” Tim also gave away a truck and a boat to one lucky audience winner. On top of that, Tim donated the equivalent dollar amount of that truck and boat to Operation Homefront.
Tim later sang “I Like It, I Love It,” with his special guest Billy Currington. Opener Chase Bryant also came out to help Tim out on “Felt Good on My Lips.” Tim’s new single, “Top of the World,” and classic McGraw hits like “Down on the Farm,” “Indian Outlaw” and “Live Like You Were Dying” rounded out the set list.
