Dia de los Muertos Altar/Ofrenda Building Workshop presented in partnership with Defiende Nuestra Tierra.
Saturday, November 5, 12 – 3 PM
Celebrate and remember a relative, a friend, or a person who was meaningful to you by creating a temporary altar in their honor at the Community Art Center! Register individually or as a group.
$10.00 per Altar/Table Space. Complimentary platforms, cloths, sugar skulls, marigolds, and art supplies will be provided. Bring pictures of your loved ones and additional personal items & traditional components.
Altar Viewing and Reception 3-5 PM
Family, friends, and community members are invited to view the altars from 3-5 PM. Bring an item to place on a Community Altar.
Light refreshments will be provided.
