Join us for an exciting adventure in color! Kids will learn how to mix colors, dye paper, and create their very own sand art bottle. There will be an event at each of the six Garfield County Libraries, with the first starting at 2:30 p.m. on Jan. 12 in Glenwood Springs. The next event will be held at 11 a.m. on Jan. 21 in Rifle, followed by 12 p.m. on Jan. 28 in New Castle, and 3 p.m. on Feb. 2 in Carbondale. The final two events will be at 11:30 a.m. on Feb. 7 in Parachute, and at 11 a.m. on Feb. 18 in Silt. This free bilingual event series for school-aged children will be presented by the Bristlecone Arts Collaborative as part of the Winter Reading Challenge at the Garfield County Libraries.
