Lotus Lantern Craft Workshop at the Garfield County Libraries

Join your Garfield County Libraries and make a Lotus Lantern to celebrate the Lunar New Year! We’ll assemble the crafts at each library, with The Korean Spirit and Culture Promotion Project teaching participants each step via a Zoom connection. Participants will also learn about Korea’s unique history and culture. There will be two dates of events, with the New Castle, Parachute, and Rifle Branch Libraries participating on Saturday, Jan. 21, and then the Carbondale, Glenwood Springs, and Silt Branch Libraries participating on Saturday, Jan. 28. We’ll begin at 2 p.m. on both dates. The workshops are free and materials will be provided, but space is limited. Registration is required to participate.
