National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) is designed as a challenge to write 50,000 words of a new novel in 30 days. Your Garfield County Libraries will host three online events to help and inspire you on your journey to that impressive goal. The first event, a Writing Workshop, will be at 5 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 1. The second event will be a Writers Panel Discussion featuring authors Donna Lee Humble, Nancy Bo Flood, Phil K. Walter, and Cathy Heyliger. It will begin at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 17. The final event will be a Writing Workshop at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 30. All three events will be free and held online via Zoom. Visit to register for NaNoWriMo or attend any of these events.
