Silent Movie Festival at the Parachute Branch Library
Silent Movie Festival at the Parachute Branch Library
March 16 @ 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM
Take a step back in time! Adults are invited to the Parachute Branch Library for three nights to watch full feature silent movies. You’ll listen to a brief talk about the history of silent movies, followed by a screening. The first event will be on March 16 and feature “The Gold Rush” with Charlie Chaplin. The second event will be on April 20 and feature “Metropolis” from 1927. The final event will be on May 18 and feature “Nosferatu,” the original vampire silent movie. All events will begin at 6:30 p.m. on Thursdays. The festival is free and light refreshments will be provided. For more information call the library at 970-285-9870.
