Ensuring our children are ready for school is so important, but it can feel challenging when you don’t know how to help or what to do. These virtual workshops through your Garfield County Libraries will teach family, friend, and neighbor caregivers the simple ways you can Read, Write, Talk, Sing, and Play with children in your care. They will also give you tools you can use (literal tools you can pick up at your local library and make at home) to get them ready for their first day of school. There will be separate videos in English and Spanish published starting Monday, September 21 on the libraries’ YouTube channel, www.youtube.com/garfieldcountylibraries. Participation is free and open to all caregivers. For more information visit www.gcpld.org.
