Your Garfield County Libraries are hosting a panel of local experts and industry leaders for a special event where you can learn the steps our local energy companies are taking to reduce their impact on climate change as well as what steps consumers can take to save energy and money. This virtual event will begin at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 3. With simultaneous interpretation, you can choose to participate in either English or Spanish. Panelists include representatives from Black Hills Energy, CLEER, CORE, Holy Cross Energy, and Xcel Energy. This event is also part of a grant recently secured by your Garfield County Libraries. Resilient Communities: Libraries Respond to Climate Change is a pilot program of the American Library Association. Participate in this free panel discussion of the future of energy at www.gcpld.org/resilient.
