Beer Truck Crash

Well – it was ALMOST a beer lover’s dream. . .but it didn’t turn out that way, and it couldn’t have happened at a worse time or place.
Denver police say a semi-truck going through the Mousetrap in Denver nearly flew off the overpass from I-70 to I-25 yesterday, dumping hundreds of cans of Miller Genuine Draft onto the highway below – right during the evening rush hour.
No one was injured in the accident, but traffic was backed up for miles on both of Colorado’s main interstates while crews worked to clean up the beer and remove the truck. Authorities have not yet confirmed what caused the accident or if the driver could be facing any charges.
As for the 60,000 pounds of beer lost in the incident – it was actually all expired and was being hauled to recycling facility.
