Georgia native Cole Swindell tells AtlantaFalcons.com he has some ideas about what his favorite team should do when it comes time for this year’s NFL Draft at the end of the month. The ACM New Artist of the Year also throws his support behind new head coach Dan Quinn.

“I like him. Coming from Seattle, I hope he gives our defense the fire we need to start lighting people up. Physically,” he says. Cole remembers watching his favorite Falcon Deion Sanders play when he was just a kid. “My first game getting sideline passes and getting to watch from there was one of the best moments ever,” he remembers.

As for Cole’s draft pick, his money is on Shane Ray from the University of Missouri. He believes Ray would “help get pressure on the quarterback and add to what [the new coach] is trying to build.” The Atlanta Falcons will pick eighth when the NFL Draft starts on Thursday, April 30.
