Glenwood Police Look for Kidnapping Suspect

Glenwood Springs Police are looking for a man suspected of kidnapping a young girl Friday.

According to reports from the Glenwood Springs Police Department, the girl was grabbed while walking in downtown Glenwood around 5:30 Friday afternoon and forced into a pickup.  After driving around for over an hour, the suspect took the girl to a secluded part of town where she was able to get away.

The suspect is described as a white male about 25 years old with a possibly east coast accent.  He was clean cut, with no facial hair or sideburns, medium length brown hair and green eyes.  He reportedly has a swirl shaped tattoo on the back of his neck.  At the time of the crime, he was wearing a black hoodie, dark blue jeans and a red ball cap with a white “C” on the front.

The suspect was driving a white extended cab early 2000s full‐size truckwith a white camper shell and rust on front of vehicle near grille.  It had black leather seats, with black carpet and the inside smelled of tobacco from cigarette use.
