Let Them Roar Performs at Music on the Mountain at Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park

Glenwood Springs, Colo. (Sept. 8, 2014) — This week’s Music on the Mountain concert at Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park features Carbondale-based Let Them Roar. Guests can ride the tram or bus free on Sat., Sept. 13, from the floor of the Roaring Fork Valley to the top of Iron Mountain with the donation of a canned food item for the LiftUp community food pantry. The cans-for-a-tram rides begin at 4 p.m.; the band performs from 6 to 10 p.m.

Let Them Roar is an American musical melting pot, with twangy voices that fit the band’s Colorado country genre and influences that range from Bob Dylan to Bach. The band includes Olivia Pevec and Sophia Clark on vocals, Mateo Sandate on guitar, Ashton Taufer on bass, Aaron Taylor on drums and Frank Martin on guitar, mandolin and vocals. Perri’s Collision, which has served western Colorado for more than 20 years, is the sponsor of this week’s show.

The Lookout Grille and Snack Shack will be open for dinner and refreshments, with $4 drink specials including glasses of wine, well drinks, Coors Lights and Coronas. Guests can enjoy the park’s rides and attractions during the events with a Funday Pass. Just $35 with the free tram ride, it includes both walking cave tours and unlimited access to the new Glenwood Canyon Flyer, the Alpine Coaster, the Giant Canyon Swing, the Cliffhanger Roller Coaster, the Mine Wheel, the Wild West Express Coaster, the Soaring Eagle Zip Ride, the 4D Motion Theater, the Laser Tag arena, the Ft. WhereAmI maze, the climbing wall and the Giddy Up! Western ride. The outdoor rides are open until dusk; the Laser Tag arena and 4D Motion Theater are open until the park closes.

The Music on the Mountain series wraps up on Sat., Sept. 20 with The Missing Link Band, classic rock. The park is open until 10 p.m. during all Saturday Music on the Mountain events.
