Missing Hitchiker

Police in southwest Wyoming say new information has led them to search a home for evidence connected to the unsolved 2006 death of a Colorado hitchhiker.

The Sweetwater County Sheriff’s Office said Wednesday detectives are processing a Rock Springs residence for evidence.

Back in 2006, Ben Bradley, then 28 years old, was traveling from his home in Tabernash, Colorado, to Jackson on a snowboarding outing when he disappeared in the Rock Springs area on the night of June 2.

His body was found four months later about 25 miles north of Rock Springs. An autopsy determined the cause of death was multiple stab wounds to the chest area.

Investigators have not yet released any additional details as to the nature of the new information that led them to search the home, or whether any new evidence may have been found.
