NO BOND FOR CAR JACKERS WHO LED CHASE THROUGH GLENWOOD

Glenwood Springs. (AP) – The man and woman who led several law enforcement agencies on a high speed chase from Grand Junction to Glenwood Springs after fleeing an armed robbery are being held in the Garfield County Jail on a no-bond hold. 35 year old Eugene Owens and 23 year old Lilah Capps, both from Kansas, are accused of leading police on a chase at speeds of up to 110 mph Tuesday night. They are also accused of carjacking a vehicle at knifepoint, committing a robbery, and throwing items such as a gasoline can out of their vehicle while fleeing police.
They’re facing multiple felony charges out of both Mesa and Garfield County.
