WESTBOUND LANE THROUGH CANYON SET TO OPEN

Glenwood Springs—The head to head configuration in Glenwood Canyon is coming to an end this afternoon around 4 O’clock.  Crews are looking to add one lane of I-70 on the westbound side while repair work from last month’s rockslide continues.

GREAT NEED FOR NEW PSYCH HOSPITAL IN WESTERN COLORADO

Glenwood Springs–Mind Springs Mental Health is looking for financial assistance from local governments to build a new, larger facility serving 10 counties in  Northwest Colorado. Officials from Mind Springs spoke with the Garfield County Board of Commissioners during a work session hoping to get an endorsement for a 50 thousand dollar DOLA grant.  Officials say the 32 million dollar hospital would be based in Grand Junction and would take about a year and a half to build.

ASPEN WEED SHOP ROBBER PLEADS GUILTY

Aspen—The man accused of robbing an Aspen recreational marijuana shop last summer and stealing a car pled guilty to three felonies.   22 year old Hayden May is facing up to 12 years in prison.  He’ll be sentenced April 18th.
